Eastern Washington University Athletics

Christie Patterson started working at Eastern in April of 2022 for the Center for Academic Advising and Retention as a student success advisor. She moved to working with EWU athletics as the senior student athlete academic advisor in May of 2023.

Currently she is the Associate Athletic Director Academic Success as of December 2024. 

Prior to coming to Eastern, Patterson worked as a graduate assistant coach at Kansas Wesleyan University with the men’s and women’s soccer teams. There, she managed the academics for the soccer student athletes. She also assisted in teaching math classes there. She graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with her master’s in business administration.

Patterson was a goalkeeper at Gonzaga University for their women’s soccer team. She was ranked 2nd all time for most saves in her four years there. She graduated from Gonzaga in 2016 with a major in business administration with double concentrations in marketing and supply chain management.

She and her husband, Atticus, have 3 kids.
