Hayden Hollinger

Hayden Hollinger was hired as an assistant coach for Eastern Washington Soccer in November of 2023. 

Earned his USSF B License in June of 2025.

In his first season on the Eagle staff, Hollinger helped Eastern to their biggest win improvement (+7) in school history. Hollinger would also assist in development of Eastern's six Big Sky All-Conference players including the Co-Offensive MVP of the conference. The Eagles would make their first conference tournament since 2019, and become the sixth team in school history to record at least nine wins.

Hollinger joins the staff after being an assistant coach at Oklahoma State University for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. At Oklahoma St., Hollinger focused on the defensive unit, while directing player development. He also assisted in preparing scouting reports, video analysis, along with assisting in the team's recruiting strategy. 

Prior to working in Stillwater, Hollinger was an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky in 2021 and into '22, having similar responsibilities to his role at OSU. 

Hollinger broke into college coaching at The Citadel, working as a graduate assistant coach form 2019 to '21. During his time as a Bulldog, Hollinger also earned his masters degree in Business Administration form the university. 

Along with his work in collegiate soccer, Hollinger  has extensive experience at the club level as well. Hollinger served as the Academy Director for the Commonwealth Soccer Club from '21 to '22. From 2018 to '19, Hollinger worked as an academy coach and international liaison for Global Premier Soccer, SC. 

Hollinger played at St. Mary's University (San Antonio, TX) from 2016-18 and was elected a team captain. He graduated from St. Mary's in '18. with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. Hollinger also played for Hartwick College (Oneonta, NY) from 2014-16.
