Jeremy Johnston

Jeremy Johnston joined the Eastern Washington sports performance in August of 2025.

Jeremy was an undergraduate student at Boise State University majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. He served as a volunteer intern with Boise State’s Sports Performance staff, where he led training sessions for the men’s golf and tennis teams—both highly successful programs with conference championships. Over the course of his internship, Jeremy accumulated over 550 hours of hands-on coaching experience with 12 Olympic sports, including track and field, softball, volleyball, and cross-country. He is also completing a comprehensive internship curriculum focused on program design, data collection, and performance analysis using tools such as Hawkin Dynamics force plates, JustJump mats, and the TENDO Sport power analyzer.

Additionally, Jeremy is CPR/AED certified and plans to obtain his CSCS certification in April 2025. He prides himself on his accountability, communication, and adaptability, while maintaining a growth mindset in every aspect of his coaching journey. Jeremy is passionate about developing athletes both physically and mentally, and aims to contribute to a high-performance environment that fosters character, discipline, and long-term success in-and-out of competition.
