The Eastern Washington women's basketball team will continue its road trip this week, with two games on the schedule. Eastern's first matchup will take them to Flagstaff, Ariz. to play Northern Arizona on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The Eagles then go to Greeley, Colo. to play Northern Colorado on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m.

Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+, with live stats for Thursday's game available on NAUAthletics.com. Saturday's game will have live stats through UNCBears.com.

Last Time Out
Eastern Washington had a short road trip down to Moscow, Idaho to play the Vandals this past Saturday (Feb. 11). Eastern fell to Idaho, 88-64, as the Vandals fired off a 51.7 shooting percentage in the game. The Eagles were held to 35.9 percent from the floor. Idaho outscored Eastern, 26-15 in the second quarter and build a double-digit lead and cruise the rest of the game.

Jaleesa Lawrence scored 21 points in the game, shooting 53.8 percent in the game and 57.1 percent on three-point shots. Aaliyah Alexander scored 12 points and Jamie Loera added 11 in the game.

A Look at the Eagles
Eastern Washington sits at fifth in the Big Sky standings with a 7-6 conference record and 14-9 overall this season. The team is 9-4 at home and 5-5 on the road. On the season, Eastern is averaging 71.3 points per game to rank second in the conference while allowing 65.8 points per game. From the floor, the Eagles are shooting 42.4 percent, ranking second in the Big Sky. The offense is able to remain productive as the team holds the top turnover margin in the conference at 4.3 per game.

Scouting the Lumberjacks
Northern Arizona 9-5 in the Big Sky and are tied for second in the standings with Montana. NAU has an overall record of 15-12, with a 10-2 mark at home. The Lumberjacks went 1-2 last week, winning on the road at Idaho State (64-54) and Sacramento State (84-82 OT), while losing to Portland State (55-60). NAU is the top scoring offense in the conference with a 76.7 points per game average, while also leading the Big Sky with 40.5 combined team rebounds

The Lumberjack offense runs through senior Regan Schenck, who holds a wide lead on the conference leaderboard for assists with 7.0 per game. She has 188 total this season in 27 games played. In the paint, forward Montana Oltrogge is fourth in the conference with 8.2 rebounds per game, while adding 13.4 points per game to rank 11^th.

Series History
In program history, Eastern Washington is 41-32 against NAU, going 13-20 on the road. Eastern broke a six-game losing streak to the Lumberjacks earlier this season in Cheney, 96-89, in overtime. Jaleesa Lawrence set a career-high with 23 points in the OT thriller.

Scouting the Bears
Northern Colorado is 4-10 in Big Sky games this season and 11-14 overall. The Bears are on a two-game, losing streak, falling to Portland State (52-56) and Sacramento State (48-79) this past week. This season, UNC is averaging 61.9 points per game, while allowing 63.9 to opponents. UNC has a 78.9 free throw shooting percentage to rank second in the conference. The Bears average 34.2 rebounds per game, while allowing 32.2 to opponents. The team's plus-2.1 rebounding margin is second in the Big Sky.

Junior Hannah Simental is the go to scorer for UNC with 13.9 points per game also tying for eighth in the Big Sky. Right with Simental in eighth is junior Delaynie Byrne with a 13.9 average. Byrne is also the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 7.3 a game to tie for sixth in the Big Sky.

Series History
Eastern Washington is 13-21 against Northern Colorado all-time on program history, going 4-10 on the road against the Bears. The teams met back in January with Eastern winning a defensive battle, 49-36 at Reese Court. Jaydia Martin scored a game-high 14 points in the win.
