CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington University Athletics continued its tradition of academic excellence, with 300 student-athletes posting an average 2023 Fall Quarter grade point average of 3.56. It is the 49th consecutive quarter in which Eagle student-athletes have averaged over a 3.0 dating back to Fall 2007.
"Our Eagle student-athletes continue to display incredible dedication in the classroom," said Director of Athletics Tim Collins. "On behalf of the entire Athletics Department, I congratulate them on their outstanding performance this quarter. They consistently show what it means to be an Eag and we are proud of their achievements.
"This is also a reflection of the commitment our coaches and staff have in supporting our student-athletes' holistic development. In this case, coaches and staff take initiative and embrace the responsibility in supporting student-athlete academic success. These efforts are beyond their duties as recruiters and tacticians to their specific sport."
