SPOKANE, Wash. — Eastern Washington women's golf made the most of its last round at home for the 2024-25 season as the team completed the Tri-State Invitational today. Eastern placed second on the team leaderboard with a team score of 596 (+20). In the second round today, EWU shot 293 (+5) to jump Big Sky rival Montana (598) for runner-up status.

"I'm happy with the team's performance. The ladies played well today, posting the lowest score of the day," head coach Brenda Howe said. "I think we have a lot to work on with scores four through seven, but overall, with such a young team, I'm happy with the progress so far."

Kami Twining tied for third on the individual leaderboard, shooting 147 (+3). The senior shot 72 in the opening round and closed with a 75 in round two.

Brooke Mahler took sole possession of eighth with a 149 (+5) score, shooting a 71 in the final round.

Gabriella Ilardi and Berkley Ledesma gave the Eagles four top-10 finishes as the two tied for ninth, shooting 150 (+6). Ledesma closed strong with a 73 in round two and Ilaridi shot 74.

Idaho won the Tri-State Invite, shooting 587 (+11). Gonzaga's Taylor Mularski, playing as an individual, and Idaho's Emma Kang tied for the individual title after shooting 145 (+1).
