SPOKANE, Wash. – Eastern Washington's track and field team had a busy couple of days, splitting their efforts between the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Pacific Coast Invitational in California and the Whitworth Twilight meet in Spokane.
Â
"Another successful trip to California for the distance squad as they PR'd like crazy across the board," said Director of Track and Field/Cross Country
Erin Tucker. "The Bryan Clay Meet jumped off with an explosive school record on Wednesday in the 10k for Noah H. and a top 10 performance by Evan P. Those upperclassmen are dialed in and I am excited to see them score at the conference meet!!!"
Â
"Thursday didn't disappoint at Whitworth, Bryan Clay, or the Pacific Coast invite as we set a million PR's and SB's once again at all 3 meets. I definitely believe everyone is moving in the right direction as we will 4 weeks out from conference meet starting on Monday."

Â
"Friday, we saw more middle-distance PR's at the Bryan Clay meet and a few season bests at the Beach Invite. Saturday didn't disappoint as we got the best weather of the weekend at Long Beach State. Minus the wind gusts we got the 75 and sunny we been hoping for and we closed the wknd with more PR's and SB's in the throws, jumps, and sprints. All in all it was a great weekend for the Eags even though Thursday the weather was the same in Spokane as it was in Southern California. What that means is it is officially springtime in the PNW and that is exciting considering we have 4 weeks left to prep for SACRAMENTOOOOOO!"
