CHENEY, Wash. — Kalista Lukovich continues to add to her decorated Eastern Washington career, earning another Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week honor following a standout weekend against Montana and Montana State. This is her fourth POW honor this season.
I can't say enough good things about Kalista and the season she is having," said head coach
Jon Haruguchi. "If you asked her about this I know she'd credit her teammates for any of her success. She is a great leader and performer and I'm very proud of her."
Lukovich powered the Eastern Washington offense across the Eagles' two conference matches, delivering another strong weekend as one of the Big Sky's top offensive threats.
The senior opened the week with a dominant performance in Eastern's four-set victory over rival Montana. Lukovich recorded a team-high 22 kills while adding 21 digs for a double-double, helping the Eagles secure the 3-1 win. She also contributed at the net as Eastern totaled 12 blocks in the match.
Lukovich followed with another team-leading performance against Montana State, finishing with 18 kills on 61 attacks while hitting .230. She added 10 digs and three total blocks, accounting for 20.5 points in the four-set match.
Across the two matches, Lukovich totaled 40 kills and 31 digs, averaging 5.00 kills per set over eight sets. She also recorded back-to-back double-doubles and continued to be Eastern's primary offensive weapon during Big Sky play.
The weekly recognition adds another honor to an already impressive season for Lukovich. She surpassed 1,000 career kills earlier this season, becoming the 12th Eagle in program history to reach the milestone, and has continued to climb Eastern's career record book.
Lukovich has now earned multiple Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week awards during the 2026 season, further establishing herself among the conference's premier attackers.
