CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington Director of Track and Field / Cross Country Erin Tucker has announced its 2026 cross country schedule, featuring four regular-season meets before postseason competition begins in late October. The Eagles will compete in meets across the Northwest before turning their attention to the Big Sky Championships and the NCAA postseason.
Eastern opens the season on Sept. 4 at the Clash of the Inland Northwest hosted by Gonzaga in Spokane, marking the first of two local meets on the schedule. The Eagles then travel to Missoula, Montana, for the Montana U Invite on Sept. 18.
October begins with another race in Spokane at the Whitworth Invite on Oct. 3 before Eastern heads to McMinnville, Oregon, for the George Oja Invite hosted by Linfield on Oct. 17.
The postseason gets underway on Oct. 30 at the Big Sky Conference Championships, hosted by Northern Arizona University. The Eagles will then look to qualify for the national stage at the NCAA West Regional on Nov. 13, hosted by California State University, Sacramento.
The season concludes on Nov. 21 at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, hosted by Indiana State University.
