Eastern Washington Adds Kendall Moore as Director of Player Development

CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington men's basketball head coach Dan Monson has announced the addition of Kendall Moore as the program's new Director of Player Development.

Moore joins the Eagles after concluding a collegiate playing career that spanned five different institutions and culminated at The Master's University in California, where he earned his master's degree following the 2024-25 season.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Moore's basketball journey began at Purdue Northwest before spending two seasons at Corban University and a season at Chipola College. He then transferred to Carroll College for the 2023-24 season, where he played under head coach Ryan Lundgren and alongside Eagle Andrew Cook, earning Second Team All-Frontier Conference honors after averaging 14.4 points per game. He finished his playing career at The Master's University, where he averaged 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game and earned All-Golden State Athletic Conference recognition.

"We are excited to add Kendall to our staff," said head coach Dan Monson. "Kendall is a hard-working young man who will bring infectious energy and effort to our program. Being so closely removed from his playing days will help him immediately connect with our players. As a former point guard, he's a great leader and connector of people. We are excited to welcome him to our staff!"

As Director of Player Development, Moore will work closely with the student-athletes on and off the court, assisting with player growth, skill development, and the overall student-athlete experience.

Moore's unique path through college basketball has equipped him with a wealth of experience and perspective that will benefit the Eagle program as he transitions from player to coach.

Eastern Washington opens its 2026-27 season this fall under Monson's third year at the helm.
