Men's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, featuring a challenging slate of road contests, three exhibition games and a neutral-site matchup against Washington State at the Numerica Veterans Arena.

The Eagles begin the preseason with three exhibition contests, opening at home against Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday, Oct. 18. Eastern then travels to Tucson to face Arizona on Friday, Oct. 23, before returning home to host Western Washington on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Regular-season action begins with a three-game road swing against Power Conference opponents. Eastern opens the season at Stanford on Monday, Nov. 2, before traveling north to face Oregon on Friday, Nov. 6 and Oregon State on Monday, Nov. 9.

The Eagles return to Cheney for their home opener against Corban College on Friday, Nov. 13. Eastern then heads back on the road for a challenging stretch beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Utah.

Eastern continues its road-heavy November with a trip to Las Vegas to face UNLV on Monday, Nov. 23, followed by a matchup at LMU on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The Eagles close the month at Wyoming on Sunday, Nov. 29.

December brings Eastern back home to host Northwest College on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The Eagles travel to Portland on Sunday, Dec. 13, before returning to Reese Court to take on Seattle Pacific on Thursday, Dec. 17.

Eastern will close its non-conference schedule with the second edition of the 509 Classic, taking on Washington State on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at the Numerica Veterans Arena. The neutral-site matchup brings the Eagles and Cougars back to Spokane after the two programs met at the arena during the 2025-26 season.
