CHENEY, Wash. – The Big Sky Conference announced Monday that Eastern Washington's Kalista Lukovich has been named the Big Sky Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week following a standout opening weekend of the 2026 season.
"I couldn't be happier for Kalista," said head coach Jon Haruguchi. "To achieve this recognition from the Big Sky is a testament to how well she played over the course of the weakened. I know she's been working very hard at improving her skills and it definitely showed."
Lukovich helped lead the Eagles to a 3-0 start at the Steve Nimocks Redhawk Invitational, earning Tournament MVP honors and a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Across three matches, she totaled 52 kills, averaging 5.20 kills per set while hitting .357. She also contributed 23 digs and nine total blocks.
Eastern returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 3, opening the Gonzaga Invitational against Oral Roberts at 2:30 p.m.
