CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington volleyball standout Kalista Lukovich continues to add to her impressive start to the 2026 season, earning Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season.

"I'm very happy for Kalista and she's having a wonderful start to the season," said head coach Jon Haruguchi. "She has spent so much time in the off season working on her craft and it's awesome that she's seeing the benefits of that effort."

Lukovich powered the Eastern Washington offense during the Eagles' final weekend of non-conference play, continuing to establish herself as one of the conference's top offensive threats.

The senior delivered a milestone performance against Nevada, recording a career-high 28 kills while hitting .333. During the match, Lukovich also eclipsed 1,000 career kills, becoming the latest Eagle to reach the milestone.

Lukovich continued to lead Eastern throughout the weekend, providing a consistent presence on the outside against a challenging tournament field. She finished the three-match stretch with 67 kills while also contributing defensively with digs and blocks.

Her performance against Nevada highlighted another strong week for Lukovich, as the Eagles out-killed the Wolf Pack 53-51. She followed the performance with double-digit kills in each of Eastern's final two matches of the weekend, extending her streak of double-digit kill performances.

Lukovich has been a centerpiece of the Eastern offense throughout the opening month of the season, combining high-volume production with an expanded role defensively. Her performances have also earned her all-tournament recognition during non-conference play.

Eastern Washington now turns its attention to Big Sky Conference action as the Eagles begin the next stage of their 2026 schedule.
