Biography

2013: Listed as a backup wide receiver on thepreseason depth chart. Moved from tight end to receiver in thespring, but could still see some action as a tight end or slot in2013.

2012: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team. Started six games, including four times when EWUstarted with two tight ends. He finished with nine catches for 109yards and a touchdown, with two catches versus Weber State(9/22/12), Montana (9/29/12) and Cal Poly (11/3/12). He had a21-yard TD catch versus Wagner (12/1/12) in the FCS Playoffs. Heearned team special teams player of the week honors againstPortland State (11/17/12).

2011: Redshirted.

2010: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team. Played in eight games, earning the first startof his career against Northern Arizona (10/9/10) when he also hadhis first career touchdown with a 9-yard reception. Those turnedout to be EWU’s final points in the 21-14 win, however, hesuffered a shoulder injury against the Lumberjacks and missedEWU’s next four games. He had three catches for 26 yardsversus Weber State (10/2/10).

HS: Graduated from Lynden HS in 2010. Selectedto play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B All-State Game. Earned first team 2AAll-State honors as both a tight end and linebacker from theAssociated Press. He was the 2A MVP on the WashingtonPreps.com 2AAll-State squad. He was selected as the Most Valuable Player in theNorthwest Conference for 3A/2A players. Seto also was a unanimous3A/2A All-NWC first team selection at tight end and linebacker. Hehelped Lynden go 46-7 overall and 28-3 in the Northwest Conferencein four seasons as the Lions won a trio of state titles. As asenior, he led Lynden with 905 yards receiving and nine touchdownson 40 receptions. He also played a big role on Lynden’sdefense, helping the Lions post five shutouts and hold opponents toan average of 8.9 points per game. Seto helped lead Lynden to itssecond-straight State 2A title, defeating West Valley (Spokane)16-6 in the title game. He helped keep alive drives with fivecatches for 94 yards, including one that led to Lynden’sfirst touchdown. Lynden finished 13-1 as it won its third title infour years. Before the 2009 season began, he was selected as one ofthe “other players to watch” on Ron Siegel’spreseason All-State team. As a junior, he also earned first team 2AAll-State honors as a tight end from the Associated Press. Heearned All-NWC honors as a linebacker as he helped Lynden win the2008 State 2A title with a 35-34 victory over Prosser. The Lionsrallied from a 15-point deficit to win their 10th-straight gameafter a 2-2 start. He started as a defensive end as a sophomore asLynden finished 10-3 and advanced to the semifinals in 2007. Helettered in 2006 when the Lions were 13-1 and won the state title.Has also played basketball for three years at Lynden, and averagednearly 10 points per game as a senior for the Lions. His Eagleteammate Blair Bomber (’10) also attendedLynden.
