2015: Listed as a starter a kicker and backup at punter on the preseason depth chart.

2014: Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky honors. Finished the season a perfect 11-of-11 kicking field goals with a long of 43, and also made 48-of-55 extra points for 81 total points. He punted three times for a 43.0 average and had 32 kickoffs for a 55.1 average and two touchbacks. Joined the Eagles after the first week of preseason practices and took over as EWU’s kicker when Roldan Alcobendas was lost for the season with a knee injury suffered against Montana State (9/20/14). McNannay made his first-ever collegiate field goal with a 27-yarder that gave EWU the lead for good at 9-7 against UC Davis (9/27/14). He also made 4-of-5 extra points, and handled kickoff duties for EWU. He was the team’s co-special teams player of the week against North Dakota (11/1/14) after making field goals of 38 and 36 yards, and converting six extra points. Four times he kicked at least two field goals, including makes of 43 (career high) and 23 against Northern Colorado (10/18/14). Originally from nearby Colfax, Wash., McNannay was at Washington State before punting for Jody Sears at Weber State in 2012. He was an injury replacement that year as well when Tony Epperson also suffered a knee injury.

2013: Attended Eastern but wasn’t eligible after transferring from Weber State.

Weber State: Saw action in all 11 games for Weber State under former Eagle assistant coach Jody Sears. Earned Big Sky Conference All-Academic honors. Finished fifth in the Big Sky in punting average at 43.0 yards per punt, with all 26 of his punts coming in the final six games of the season. He became WSU’s top punter after a knee injury suffered by Tony Epperson. He had a career-long punt of 61 yards in WSU’s season ending game at Idaho State and had a total of seven punts of more than 50 yards. He averaged 51.6 yards per punt in WSU’s win at Southern Utah, the fourth best single-game average in WSU history. He also averaged 57.6 yards on 45 kickoffs, with 13 of them resulting in touchbacks.

Washington State: Redshirted at Washington State under former Eastern head coach Paul Wulff.

HS: Graduated from Colfax HS in 2011. In his senior season he earned 2B All-State honors from Associated Press as a punter, running back and kicker. He also earned honorable mention accolades as a linebacker and was a honorable mention All-State honors as a kicker. Colfax was the State 2B runner-up in both his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Sociology major. Born 12/20/92 in Pullman, Wash. Parents are Rick and Marcia McNannay. Nickname is “Sunshine” in reference to long-haired blonde quarterback Ronnie Bass in the 2000 movie Remember the Titans.
