Prior to Eastern Washington
- Jung comes to Cheney from Dickinson High School in Dickinson, N.D., where she played varsity basketball all four years.
- Was also a two-year member of the softball and track and field teams and is fresh off of a state title in the high jump where she leaped 5-4.
- As a senior, Jung averaged 19.4 points per game which was good for the third most in the state and the second most in the West Region.
- Added 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest and was named All-State.
- Her senior season was an improvement from her junior year, where she averaged 14.8 points per game to go with 2.9 steals and led her squad to the WDA Tournament.
- A three-time offensive player of the year, she was named to the All-WDA team as a junior and senior and placed fourth in the high jump in the state meet as a junior.
