2019-20: Mohamed played in 13 Eastern games, averaging 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in an average of 4.0 minutes per game. He had seven points and four boards in EWU’s opener versus Portland Bible College, and also saw action when EWU returned to his hometown to play the University of Washington in Seattle.

HS: Graduated from West Seattle HS in 2019. As a senior, Mohamed helped West Seattle advance to the State 3A Tournament and finish 17-9 overall and 11-4 for a fourth-place finish in the highly-competitive 3A Metro League. He earned second team All-Metro League honors. Mohamed averaged over 15 points and nine rebounds per game as a junior at West Seattle, and was also a factor on the defensive side of the ball. He had a 3.0 grade point average in high school and was born and raised in West Seattle.

Personal: Mohamed is interested in majoring in electrical engineering at EWU and has a 3.43 grade point average through spring quarter 2020. Born 9/9/00. He enjoys volunteering with neighborhood children, and tutored his classmates and teammates in math and science. His parents are Bashir Mohamed and Burhan Farah, and he has three brothers (Abdirahim, Ahmed and Yusuf), and a sister (Fatuma), who he closely mentors in basketball as well. His father has been in Somalia for the past 2 1/2 years taking care of his elderly mother. Abdullahi’s mother works three different jobs to provide for her family, and also makes a huge impact on the African community in Seattle public schools.
