Prior to Eastern Washington
Adia Messenger comes to Cheney from Troutdale, Ore., where she played both volleyball and softball at Reynolds High School.
 
Messenger was named second-team All-Mt. Hood Conference as a freshman before earning a spot on the first-team as a sophomore and a junior. She has been named the Reynolds High School MVP, while being a team captain, for three-straight seasons.
 
During her junior season, she was named the top high school setter in the state by Oregon Live. She was also one of Prep Dig Oregon's top-five volleyball players in the class of 2021.
 
Messenger has helped her club team find success with a CEVA/Puget Sound Platinum Championship, a CEVA National Bid championship for the National Division, and a CEVA National Bid for the American Division.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Amber and Brandon Messenger… Intends on majoring in exercise science with aspirations of becoming an occupational therapist.
