Prior to Eastern Washington
Jordyn Boesel joins the Eagles after four seasons at Saint Mary’s College in California. Boesel, who was just named to the Honorable Mention West Coast Conference All-Academic team, graduated from SMC with a degree in Business Administration and will join the Eagles as a graduate transfer while she earns her M.B.A.

Her senior year at Saint Mary’s saw her play in 24 games, starting two. In her first career start against San Diego on Feb. 11, she scored a career-high 17 points after going 5-of-8 from three-point range. She finished the year averaging 3.6 points per game with an average of 14.6 minutes per contest and shot 42.3 percent from the field.

In four years with the Gaels, she averaged 8.5 minutes and 1.7 points per game in 73 total contests, while helping SMC to back-to-back WNIT appearances.

Boesel prepped at Okanogan High School where she was a four-year letter winner in both volleyball and basketball and graduated in 2017. She earned All-League honors all four years, including three first-team selections. Boesel helped guide the Bulldogs to back-to-back 2B WIAA state titles, finishing 27-0 during both the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. In 2015-16, she was named second-team all-state. During her four years at Okanogan, she averaged double-figures all four years, including 16 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a senior.

Gleason on Boesel
“Jordyn will be a grad transfer in the MBA program and will bring veteran leadership to our young squad. She is a tough player who has experience competing in the West Coast Conference for the past four years. She knows what it takes to be a collegiate athlete, how to work hard and will bring energy to the program, along with the ability to shoot from behind the arc at a good percentage.”

Personal
Boesel has aspirations of working in digital marketing once she earns her M.B.A. Her father, Bryan Boesel, played football at Eastern Washington from 1989-93.
