HS: Graduated from Franklin HS in 2011. He wasa first team All-Delta Valley League selection and receivedhonorable mention on the All-Sac-Joaquin Section team as selectedby the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National FootballFoundation. Named to the All-Metro first team as a widereceiver as selected by the Sacramento Bee. King wasranked by MaxPreps as the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in theleague, No. 6 in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Section, and No. 35 inCalifornia. He had 59 catches for 1,256 yards (21.3 yards percatch) and 16 touchdowns, and had a long play of 96 yards. Heled the Delta Valley League in all receiving categories. Hehad two performances with nine catches each, and had over 100 yardsreceiving on seven occasions. He had receiving performances of 190,181, 180 and 170 yards, with three plays of 60 yards or more. Inaddition, he had 56 tackles on defense. He helped Franklin to an8-3 record and an appearance in the CIF Sac-Joaquin SectionPlayoffs. As a junior, he earned second team All-Delta ValleyLeague honors. He caught 18 passes for 346 yards (19.2) with sixtouchdowns as the team finished 6-5. He was team captain as both ajunior and senior. Also played basketball at Franklin as athree-year starter, earning first team All-Delta Valley Leaguehonors as a senior and junior, and honorable mention as asophomore. He averaged nearly 10 points per game his final twoseasons, as well as two assists and 3 1/2 rebounds per game.Franklin was 26-6 his junior season and 25-7 as a senior.
