2012: Listed as a backup at strong-side insidelinebacker on preseason depth chart. In four spring scrimmages, hehad a team-leading 26 tackles.
2011: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team for the third-straight year. He had 36 tacklesfor the season entering EWU’s game against Cal Poly(11/12/11), then recorded a game-high 19 in EWU’s 53-51triple-overtime victory. His performance ranks as the seventh-mostin recorded school history as he was making just his third start ofthe season at linebacker. Although he started once before as afullback in 2009, he made his first start on defense versusWashington (9/3/11) and finished with five tackles. He finished theyear with a total of four starts and 61 tackles to rank third onthe team. He also had nine tackles versus Portland State(10/29/11). In four spring scrimmages, he had a team-leading 15tackles, including eight in the Red-White Spring Game.
2010: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team. He saw significant action late in the NCAADivision I Championship Game (1/7/11) at linebacker as the Eaglestried several combinations to replace injured 15-game starter TylerWashburn. Williams finished with a tackle in the 20-19 victory overDelaware as the Eagles held the Blue Hens scoreless on their lastfour possessions. He had a season-high four tackles versus CentralWashington (9/11/10) and had three tackles with a forced fumbleversus Portland State (10/30/10). He helped the Eagle defense rankfirst nationally in interceptions (total of 26) and turnoversgained (47), and finish sixth nationally in red zone defense, as itallowed just 38 scores in 58 opponent trips inside the Eagle20-yard line. He was also EWU’s special teams player of theweek against Central Washington (9/11/10). He had 18 tackles infour spring scrimmages after playing as a tailback and fullback inthe 2009 season.
2009: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team. He made the first start of his career againstCalifornia (9/12/09) at tailback, having taken the majority ofsnaps in practice during the week leading up to the game while atrio of Eagle running backs nursed minor injuries. He finished theyear with three carries for eight yards, and caught two passes fornine yards, including a 4-yard touchdown catch versus Cal. He wasalso credited with five tackles on special teams, including two inthe NCAA Football Championship Playoffs against Stephen F. Austin(11/28/09).
2008: Redshirted.
HS: Graduated from Rogers HS in 2008. TheTacoma News Tribune selected him to its All-State team asa linebacker. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-StateGame. He was also a first team All-Area selection by theTNT as a linebacker. Named by the Seattle Timesas a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100prospects in the state of Washington. Was a first team All-SouthPuget Sound League 4A South Division selection as both a tight endand linebacker. Rogers won the SPSL South Division title his seniorseason and finished 7-3. His team held opponents to an average ofless than 10 points per game as he had 86 tackles (12.3 per game).He also caught 16 passes for 332 yards and four touchdowns and wasselected as a team captain. As a junior, he earned second teamAll-SPSL 4A South Division honors as a linebacker. He earnedhonorable mention all-league honors as a sophomore. He also playedbasketball and baseball at Rogers, earning second team All-SPSL 4ASouth Division honors in 2007 as an outfielder. His Eagle teammateKeylin Huddleston (’12) also attended Rogers.
