2011: Listed as a reserve at middle linebacker on preseason depth chart.

Washington State: Lettered for the Cougars in 2009 after appearing in seven games. Played as a reserve linebacker and primarily saw action on special teams. Redshirted in 2008.

HS: Graduated from Moses Lake HS in 2008. Was second-team All-State as selected by WashingtonPreps.com. Named by the Seattle Times as a “Red Chip” selection as one of the top 22 prospects in the state of Washington. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Was team captain as a senior and was a unanimous selection to the All-Columbia Basin League. He finished with 53 tackles, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. He also caught six passes for five touchdowns on offense. He also earned all-league honors a junior and lettered three years for head coach Greg Kittrell. In addition, he lettered three times and was team captain on the basketball team.
