Career: A two-time first team All-Big Skyselection, Lee now has 149 tackles, three interceptions, 14 passesbroken up and 2 1/2 sacks in his 34-game career. He is just 51tackles from becoming the 34th Eagle in school history to finishwith 200 career tackles. He needs just four passes broken up torank on EWU’s top 10 list in that category. His 20 careerstarts are the third most on defense, ranking only behind the 26 ofAllen Brown and 22 by Ronnie Hamlin.

2013: Listed as a starter at boundarycornerback on the preseason depth chart. Among the many preseasonaccolades he has received, The Sports Network selected Lee as asecond team preseason All-America selection. He was also a firstteam preseason All-America selection by Lindy’s Magazine andFootball Gameplan, a second team choice from College Sports Madnessand a third team pick from Beyond Sports Network. In addition, theCollege Football Performance Awards named him to its Defensive BackAward Watch List. He also earned preseason All-Big Sky Conferencehonors as selected by the league, as well as from College SportsMadness (first team) and Phil Steele (first team). Ranked 11th onthe preseason FCS cornerback rankings as selected by Josh Buchananat philsteele.com.

2012: Earned All-America honors in 2012 fromThe Sports Network (second team), and was also honored on theCollege Sporting News “Fabulous 50” All-America squad.Lee also was a first team All-Big Sky selection for thesecond-straight season. He started 13 of 14 games and piled up someimpressive statistics in 2012, ranking third on the team with 90tackles and finishing with 11 passes broken up to rank 10th inschool history. His average of 6.4 tackles per game ranked 29th inthe Big Sky and his total of 11 passes broken up was second. Healso had 2 1/2 sacks, nine total tackles for loss, an interception,two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. In one of many big gameshe had in the 2012 season, Lee had eight tackles, a forced fumbleand two passes broken up in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffsagainst Illinois State (12/8/12) to earn team defensive player ofthe week honors. He had eight tackles, a pass broken up and aforced fumble on a sack that he also recovered versus Weber State(9/22/12) to also earn team offensive player of the week honors.Versus Portland State (11/17/12), he had eight tackles (one forloss) and broke-up three passes. He had nine tackles and a sackversus Southern Utah (10/27/12). One game earlier againstWashington State (9/8/12), he had six tackles and an interception,as the Eagle defense pitched a shutout in the second half and keptEWU in the game. His interception in the fourth quarter came at theEastern 7-yard line and helped thwart one of two potential scoringdrives for the Cougars late in the game. Before the season, he wasnamed as a third team preseason All-American by Beyond SportsCollege Network. He was ranked No. 12 among all FCS cornerbacks byPhil Steele’s FCS College Football Preview. Was aunanimous selection on the preseason All-Big Sky Conference squadand Phil Steele also listed him as a first team preseason All-BigSky selection.

2011: Earned first team All-Big Sky Conferencehonors. Lee made the first start of his career against South Dakota(9/10/11) and had five tackles to earn team defensive player of theweek honors. He started a total of seven games, but missed theSacramento State (10/22/11) game and a start versus Portland State(10/29/11) because of an ankle injury. He had a season-high 11tackles against Northern Arizona (10/8/11) and had five tackles anda pass broken up in EWU’s next outing versus NorthernColorado (10/15/11). He had 27 of his 48 tackles in a three-gameleague stretch from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15. In the spring, he wasselected as Eastern’s co-most improved defensiveplayer.

2010: Played in 11 games on special teams andas a backup cornerback. After leading 28-10 at intermission againstPortland State (10/30/10), the Eagles turned a blocked punt byDarriell Beaumonte into a recovery for a touchdown by Lee toincrease the advantage to 18. Lee finished with a season-high fourtackles, a pass broken up and a forced fumble against the Vikings.He helped the Eagle defense rank first nationally in interceptions(total of 26) and turnovers gained (47), and finish sixthnationally in red zone defense, as it allowed just 38 scores in 58opponent trips inside the Eagle 20-yard line.

HS: Graduated from West Seattle HS in 2009.Selected by Associated Press as a 3A All-State honorable mentionselection as a running back. Was selected to the SeattleTimes “Star Times” All-Area team. Named by theSeattle Times as a “White Chip” selection asone of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He rushedfor 1,413 yards and 21 touchdowns to help lead West Seattle to theMetro League Sound Division title. He scored all three touchdownsin the Wildcats’ 21-6 win over O’Dea – WestSeattle’s first victory over the Irish. His team finished9-2, losing 42-3 to Ferndale in the first round of the State 3APlayoffs. As a junior, he was the Metro League Special Teams MVPand was a first team all-league defensive back. West Seattle was5-5 his junior season. He also competed in basketball and track atWest Seattle. His Eagle teammate Isaiah Jenkins (’10) alsoattended West Seattle.
