2009: Started 11 of EWU’s 12 games atnose tackle. He closed his junior season with a sack in the FCSPlayoffs against Stephen F. Austin (11/28/09), as well as acareer-high nine tackles. He also had six tackles versus bothNorthern Colorado (9/19/09) and Montana (10/17/09), adding a sackagainst the Grizzlies to earn team defensive player of the weekhonors. He also handled snapping duties for the Eagles and wasEastern’s special teams player of the week versus California(9/12/09).
2008: Started four times at nose tackle andplayed in a total of nine games, but he missed the last two gameswith a shoulder injury. He had a season-high six tackles with asack in Eastern’s win over Montana State (10/18/08). Hehelped Eastern finish an impressive 11th in the NCAA FootballChampionship Subdivison in rushing defense (93.5), as well as fifthin sacks (3.09 per game) and ninth nationally in tackles for loss(7.9 per game).
2007: Started one game at left defensive tackleas he made the first start of his career against Northern Arizona(11/10/07) and finished with four tackles and a half-sack. He alsohad three tackles against Northern Colorado (11/3/07) and a sackversus Idaho State (9/22/07).

HS: Graduated from East Valley HS in 2006.Earned first team 3A All-State honors as a defensive lineman fromAssociated Press as selected by sportswriters and broadcasters. Inaddition, WashingtonPreps.com selected him to its 3A All-Statefirst team as a defensive lineman. Selected to play in the 4A/3AEast-West All-State Game. Named by the Seattle Times as a“Red Chip” selection as one of the top 29 recruits inthe state of Washington. As both a senior and junior, he earnedfirst team All-Greater Spokane League honors. He played both sidesof the ball as a tackle, and also saw action as a tight end forEast Valley. He made a verbal commitment to Eastern in spring 2005,and was published in the Spokesman-Review on June 10,2005. East Valley lost its first two games of the season, then wonnine straight games until a 34-0 State 3A playoff loss to Ferndale.His coach at East Valley was Adam Fisher, who graduated fromEastern after a back injury kept him from punting for the Eagles.Adam Fisher’s father Ed, as well as former EWU head coachDick Zornes, were assistant coaches at East Valley and both aremembers of the Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame after playingtogether at Eastern in the mid-60’s. An outstanding wrestler,Jolley finished unbeaten and won the State 3A title at 275 poundsas a senior and was fifth at 215 pounds as a junior. He alsocompeted in track, and finished second in the discus and fourth inthe shot put his senior season as East Valley won the 3A teamtitle.
