Michael Jorge is currently transitioning into the role of Video Coordinator for Eastern Washington University Men's Basketball after two years of service as the program's Head Student Manager. Jorge began his career as a student manager at Cal State University, Long Beach, where he handled practice logistics, game-day operations, film editing, and team travel for the Division I program. When CSULB head coach Dan Monson was hired at EWU, he brought Jorge with him, and Jorge went on to spend two years leading the Eagles' as Head Student Manager before earning his promotion to Video Coordinator.
Beyond his role with EWU basketball, Jorge has taken on a range of other opportunities in the sports world. He was selected as one of 140 students nationwide for the Sports Business Classroom's Business of Basketball Immersive Experience in Las Vegas, where he was trained in NBA salary cap management, scouting, video, and analytics. Most recently, he served as a Camp Manager for the Jon Scheyer Basketball Camp at Duke University.
A Communications major at Eastern Washington University with a 3.77 GPA, Jorge graduated in the spring of 2026 and will begin his masters studies in the fall of 2026, studying Organizational Leadership, concentrating in Artificial Intelligence Leadership.Â
