Haukeli is in her fifth year at Eastern in 2022-23, and fourth in a full-time capacity. She worked with women’s volleyball and cheer for two years, and is now in her second year with men’s basketball and golf. In spring of 2021 she was promoted to a position as associate athletic trainer, and is taking over coordination of student-athlete health insurance for the athletic department.
She originally came to Eastern in fall of 2017 as a graduate assistant working with volleyball and women’s tennis. She received her master’s degree in June 2019 with a master’s degree in health and recreation administration.
Haukeli received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training and exercise science, with a minor in sports psychology, from Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D., in 2017. She was vice-president of the school’s athletic training club, was on the Dean’s list from 2013 to 2016, was a two-year starter on the softball team from 2013 to 2015 and helped coach softball from 2015-2017.
Previously, Haukeli attended Pierce College and South Puget Sound Community College in the Seattle area.
