Kyler Delancey was hired as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Eastern Washington in September of 2024. Kyler primarily works with Men's Basketball.
Prior to working at Eastern, Kyler spent more than a year at Temple University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Spirit Squad and briefly men's basketball. Kyler provided care for student-athletes and sport programs including safety, injury prevention, rehabilitation, healthy eating and living and insurance matters. She helped maintain the overall carer of her teams and helped with the maintenance of all athletic training care facilities. Before moving to a full-time role at Temple in July of 2023, she was an extern athletic trainer from 2021 to 2023 who served the Spirit Squad.
While at Temple, Kyler also worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the College of Public Health, teaching Functional Anatomy and Principles of Anatomy and Physiology for the 2023-24 academic year. Kyler had previously worked as Teaching Assistant in Human Anatomy and Physiology classes.
Kyler expanded her athletic training experience working per diem for NovaCare Rehabilitation. Through NovaCare, she was able to cover a variety of sports at a variety of levels including Parkette's Gymnastics, Eagles' camps, Phillies' camps, FC soccer, and All-America Lacrosse.
Adding to her knowledge base and leadership ability, Kyler is a member of the Preforming Arts Athletic Trainers' Society and the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Working at Temple was an easy opportunity for Kyler, as she double majoring in athletic training and public health education, earning her Bachelors of Science degrees in 2021.
In May of 2023, Kyler earned her master's degree in Kinesiology from Temple.
