- Was a three-time, first-team All-State selection.
- Also was a four-time, first-team All-Conference selection.
- Was an all-around impressive athlete, earning four letters in basketball and three in volleyball.

- With Hays' help, Wasilla HS won the Northern Lights conference championship in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, Hays was named the MVP of the Dimond Tournament after Wasilla won the tournament.
