Played in 11 games for Eastern...Had a career day against Multnomah(12/7), setting career-highs with eight points and seven rebounds in 15 minutes off of the bench...Made her first appearance of the season against Evergreen State(11/21) where she grabbed a career-high seven rebounds in eight minutes off the bench...Averaged 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 points per game...Recorded two assists and one block.
Prior to Eastern Washington
Britt Van Buren is the lone California product in this year’s signing class. She comes from Santa Paula, Calif., where she prepped at St. Bonaventure High School. After high school, Van Buren played one season at Whitman College and one at Moorpark College, joining the Eagles as a junior.

At Moorpark College, she earned several accolades including First Team All-Western State in 2019-20 and named Third Team All-State. She was named the MVP of the East Los Angeles Community College Tournament and made the Riverside Community College Classic All-Tournament team. Her team also won both of the tournaments she was honored in, and earned the No. 1 seed in the CCCAA State Tournament. Her sophomore season saw her average 15.8 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 50.7 percent from the field, 34.5 percent from three-point range and 72 percent from the charity stripe.

At St. Bonaventure, Van Buren earned four varsity letters in both basketball and volleyball and three in track and field. She earned MVP from her league, was a three-time First Team All-League member, two-time Second Team All-County and earned First Team All-County honors as a senior. Van Buren also earned First Team CIF Southern Section honors in 2017 and made the first team in 2018. Additionally, she broke the St. Bonaventure single-game rebounding record, grabbing 27 boards. St. Bonaventure also won the 2018 Tri-Valley championship. Â

Majoring in therapeutic recreation with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist in the neuro-boxing field. Daughter of Amanda Gonzales and Leodes Van Buren.
