Prior to Eastern Washington
Emily joins the Eagles after playing for Centennial High School in Missoula, Mont. In the 2023-24 season, Emily averaged 17 points per game, earning first team All-State honors. She added first team All-State Tournament team honors in the postseason. Emily was the definition of a multi-sport athlete, earning 10 letters between basketball, track and soccer. She was a 10-time placer at the state track meet.Â
At Eastern, Emily plans on majoring in biology and wants to persue a career in dentistry.
Personal
Emily is the daughter of Kristy and Blaine McElmurry. She has two sisters, Audrey and Ashley. Audrey competes in triple jump at Sacramento State and Ashley competes in triple jump at Nebraska.
