High School: Ryanwas a dual-sport athlete for Lynden Christian High School, earningletters in basketball and volleyball ... As a junior on thebasketball team, she averaged nine points, eight rebounds and 4.7assists per game for the Lyncs ... Ryan was sidelined for much ofher senior season due to a knee injury.

Personal: Daughterof Thomas and Neil Ann Ryan ... Majoring in marketing ... Sister,Brianne, recently finished a prolific four-year career with theEagle women’s basketball team ... Brianne was the 2012 BigSky MVP, two-time All-Big Sky First-Team selection, and the 2010Big Sky Co-Defensive Player of the Year ... She ranks third in theEWU record book with 1,451 career points ... Kayleigh andBrianne’s mother, Neil Ann, also played hoops for Easternfrom 1979-82, and is still the third-leading rebounder in schoolhistory with 1,008 career rebounds ... Her career reboundingaverage of 8.47 ranks fourth in the EWU record book, while her 346rebounds in the 1979 season is the fourth-best single seasonperformance in program history.
