HIGH SCHOOL
Rachel was a 2020 graduate of St Ignatius Prep in California. While attending, she was named 2019-20 San Francisco Athlete of the Year by the San Franciso Italian Athletic Club. She was chosen as a first-team All-League in her senior year, and made second-team All-WCAL as a sophomore and junior. She was also an honorable mention San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro twice, and San Franciso Examiner All-City as a sophomore and junior. Rachel also earned third-team All-CCS honors as a junior, along with receiving an honorable mention as a sophomore. During her sophomore year, Rachel attended the USA U17 National Team Trials in Colorado Springs. She notably was also a first-team All-League selection in field hockey in 2018.

PERSONAL
Rachel is the daughter of Matthew and Maryanne Harvey. She has a major in Kinesiology-sport studies. Sports runs in the family as both her parents attended Oxford University in England where her mother was a rower and studied in their law school, while her father was a golfer. Some of her favorite teams and people include: the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Friends, the Magnificent 7, strawberries, Queen, Drake, and Netflix. Rachel decided to pick the No. 4 because it was the day she was born and her older sister Rebecca wore #4 throughout her basketball career. She has met Stephen Curry and would love to meet Walt Disney if she could meet anyone in history. Her greatest hero is her older sister, because she admires the way that she carries herself and always finds a way to overcome a challenge.
