2012-13: Was one of a school-record nine Eaglesto be selected to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Reuterscored in double figures five times in the 2012-13 season,including 11 in EWU’s loss to Montana (2/2/13). For theseason, he started 16 of EWU’s 31 games and averaged 22.2minutes, 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He hada season-high 16 points with five rebounds in EWU’s 79-75 winover Cal State Fullerton (11/30/12).
High School: Graduated from Theodor-HeussGymnasium in Hagen, Germany, in 2011. In 2007, his school placedthird in the German Championship (officially named the Jugendtrainiert für Olympia). Along with Eastern teammate FrederikJörg, Reuter attended tryouts for the U-20 Germany squad inDecember 2010. In 2010, Reuter helped the U-18 German National Teamto a runner-up finish at the Albert-Schweitzer Tournament. Reuteralso represented Germany in Hillsboro, Ore., in August 2011 in thefifth-annual NIKE Global Challenge. The three-day event showcasesthe top talents from across the world, as they competed in aneight-team, 12-game tournament. While playing with BSV Wulfen inthe Bundesliga ProB second league in Germany, his team reachedthe 2010-11 playoffs. He averaged 11.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5assists per game. While playing for Team Phoenix Hagen in the2009-10 season in the Nachwuchs Basketball Bundesliga League(NBBL), his team reached the final 16 of the German Championships,as he averaged 16.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.In 2010-11, he averaged 20.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and2.4 steals per game, including an outing of 42 points, 14 rebounds,13 assists and 10 blocked shots. While playing for Team PhoenixHagen in 2008-09, his team reached the quarterfinals of the U-19German Championships. His team lost in a best-of-three seriesagainst Alba Berlin. During the season, Reuter averaged 13.0points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. In 2006, he helpedlead Nordrhein-Westfalen – a county team from the NorthRhine-Westphalia (NRW) region – win the German Championship.
Personal: Reuter was born Jan 25, 1992, inHagen, Germany. Major is undeclared, but he is considering physicaleducation. His parents are Helmut and Bäsbel Reuter. Hisfellow Germans Frederik Jörg and Martin Seiferth are also inthe Eastern program. His name is pronounced“Roy-tur.”
