2014: Blackremained as offensive staple of the Eagles throughout the 2014season by leading the team in points (17) and assists (5). InEastern's first tournament appearance since 2009, Black scored oneof EWU's two goals in its match against Northern Arizona.
2013: Continued her ascension to the top ofnumerous Eagle records in her junior season by playing in andstarting all 18 contests ... Registered the third-most shots in asingle season in EWU history with 53, setting a personal best byeight shots in the process ... Put up eight shots in Eastern'sfinal game, tying the EWU single-match record ... Scored four goalson the year, one each in games against Idaho, Fresno State, NorthDakota State and Sacramento State ... Broke Eastern's all-timegoals record (18) with an overtime game-winner against SacramentoState ... Maintained her status as the all-time leader ingame-winning goals, points per game and goals per game ... 2011: Had animpressive freshman year, leading the team with six goals in 774minutes of play … Had a stellar weekend at the BroncoInvitational, scoring the lone goal against Boise State (Aug. 26)and putting home two more in a narrow 3-2 loss against Air Force(Aug. 28) … Added two goals in the 4-0 win against EvergreenState (Sept. 16), and recorded one goal in Eastern’s onlyconference win of the season - a 3-0 shutout at Weber State (Oct.15) … Selected to the Big Sky Conference All-AcademicTeam.
High School:Four-year varsity letter winner and two-year team captain for theBattle Ground Tigers … Named the Greater St. Helen’sLeague Co-Player of the Year in 2010 … Earned back-to-backall-league first team honors in 2008 and 2009 … Was anall-region first team selection as a senior … Selected asteam’s offensive MVP for four consecutive years …Scored 52 goals and had 23 assists throughout her prep career… Played club soccer for the FC Vancouver Justice for fouryears, helping the team capture the WSYSA Championship Cup in 2005and U.S. Club Regional Championship in 2005 and 2006 …Played for FC Vancouver in 2009.
Personal: Daughterof Richard and Joni Black … Has aspirations for a career inmedicine, and plans to major in biology at Eastern.
