Eastern Washington University Athletics

A Cheney native, Lauren Sitton is in her seventh year at EWU in the 2019-20 season after being hired as an assistant athletic trainer at Eastern in May of 2014.  Currently an associate athletic trainer, she handles athletic training services for soccer, and has previously worked with volleyball and both tennis teams.

She received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Oregon State University in 2011 and later completed a master's degree in educational leadership-higher education from the University of Nevada in 2013.

Prior to her position at EWU, Sitton served as an intern athletic trainer at The Ohio State University and worked with the softball team. She is a 2007 graduate of Cheney (Wash.) High School.

The former Lauren Cordill, she and her husband, Wyatt, were married on June 25, 2016. They own a wheat farm in Washtucna, Wash., as well as help on her family’s cattle ranch. When they are not working on the farms they enjoy being outside on horses or four-wheelers and spending time with family and friends. The Sitton's have a daughter, McKinley, born in March of 2020.
