After wrapping up a standout two-year career for Eastern Washington, Mallory Taylor rejoined the Eagles as the Graduate Assistant Goalkeeper Coach in the fall of 2017.

Taylor transferred from Hastings College prior to the 2015 season and made an immediate impact, starting all 19 matches in goal. That season, she recorded 85 saves which ranks ninth in program history for saves in a single season. She also set a program record for win percentage in a single season (.711).

En route to the program’s first Big Sky Tournament Championship in 2016, Taylor set a program record seven shutouts. She faced 215 shots and only allowed 23 goals the entire season and recorded a save percentage of .768.

In just two seasons for the Eagles, Taylor ended her career ranked sixth all-time in saves with 161 and third all-time in career save percentage (.774). She set a program record in career winning percentage as well (.622).

Born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Taylor graduated from Eastern Washington in 2017 with her degree in exercise science. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Sports and Recreation Administration. Taylor was twice named to the All-Big Sky Academic Team and was named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 25, 2015 and on Sept. 27, 2016.
