Taylor played for the women's soccer team of Hastings College through August of 2013 as a goalkeeper ... Started 16 out of 18 games ... Had 81 saves and nine shutouts. She was awarded Defensive Player of the Week in the GPAC for 3 consecutive weeks. She also recieved Defensive Player of the Year in the GPAC and was awarded first team all-conference as well as honorable mention All-American.
