2008: Cheney had 11 starts in 2008, the most ofher career, and saw action in 16 contests. She had an impressivebicycle kick assist on a goal at Washington State to cutWSU’s advantage to 2-1 in a game the Cougars would win 3-1.That score did end Washington State’s home shutout streak at397:57, however.

2007: Cheney played in 17 contests, startedthree, and had a goal and an assist. She also contributed sixshots. For her impressive play, she was named the team’s MostImproved Player for 2007.

2006: She played in 13 games and had an assist.

High School: Cheney earned four letters as asoccer player at Tahoma High School. Her senior season, she helpedlead THS to a 4A state title, its first in four years. She also wona state title with the FC Marauders in 2003 and participated on theTahoma track and field team. Her parents are Mark Cheney and DebraTeter and she is majoring in recreation management.
