Biography
2010: After contributing solid minutes off thebench in 10 of the first 11 games of the season, Kitsman earned astarting nod in five of the final six games of the year. She scoredthe game-winning goal for Eastern on a powerful 45-yard free kickagainst Weber State on Oct. 17. Tallied 11 total shots during herjunior campaign, eight of which were in Big Sky Conferenceaction.
2009: As a sophomore with the Eagle soccerprogram, Kitsman saw action in nine games. Scored her firstcollegiate goal against South Dakota (Sept. 17), when she sent aheader ball to the back of the net off a corner kick from teammateHannah Kreminski. Contributed solid minutes in Eastern’s roadgame at Weber State, winning four balls in the air to give the teama boost before the end of the half. Eastern went on to beat theWildcats in Ogden for the first time in school history.
2008: Kitsman appeared in three games forEastern Washington her initial year on campus. Her latter effortshelped the Eagles to an impressive 1-0 win over Northern Coloradoon Oct. 26. She also took part in the Northern Arizona game twodays earlier and in the annual rivalry contest with Gonzaga onSept. 28.
High School: Kitsman was a four-year varsityletterwinner out of Ponderosa High School. All four years, her teamwon the Sierra Valley Conference championship. In 2006, 2007 and2008, Kitsman was honored as a All-Sierra Valley Conference FirstTeam member. In 2007, she was named All-Metro Second Team by TheSacramento Bee before earning First-Team honors in 2008. In 2006,Kitsman was named the school’s Most Valuable Player. She alsoplayed for the California Rush Soccer Club.
