Coach Bodnar on Lyons
"Saige is an explosive athlete. She can run by people and is dangerous in the attack and gets in behind backlines. She's another player that will add another dimension to our attack. I expect her to challenge our returning forwards for playing time. She's very hardworking and has a blue-collar attitude in that she just grinds stuff out. She's also a player that will defend and chase when we don't have the ball and put pressure on backs defensively."
Personal
Daughter of Bronwyn and Mario Lyons … Two siblings named Sienna and Stefon … Intends to major in education with the career goal of becoming a teacher … Chose to attend EWU because it was the best school for her to further her education.
