2024 (Redshirt Freshman)
  • Fall Big Sky All-Academic Team.
  • Played in all 12 games while starting one.
  • Recorded 26 total tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and an interception.
  • Had a career-high six tackles at Southeastern Louisiana (9/14/24).
  • Had five tackles, including a tackle for loss and his first career interception vs. Idaho State (11/16/24).
2023 (Freshman)
  • Redshirted the 2023 season.
  • Played in 4 games, and had 4 tackles.
  • Recorded his first career tackle against Cal Poly (11/4/23).
  • Had two multi-tackle games.

With his size, Samarai can contribute immediately and play inside early for us. Centennial High School is a winning program, where he played against college talent at the high school level every week. Not only did he play against them, he played well against that kind of talent which is something we look for in recruiting."
