Biography

2009: Earned Big SkyAll-Academic honors for the third-straight year. Led the Eagles tovictory against Houston (Sept. 4) with her season-high 10 kills,seven blocks and two service aces. Had six kills in the openingmatch of the season, helping EWU defeat Missouri State 3-1. Closedout her junior year with a .191 (45-20-131) hitting percentage, and0.51 blocks per set average.

2008: In addition to playing at a top levelathletically, Reinstein was impressive in the classroom, as sheearned Big Sky Conference All-Academic accolades. On the court, sheranked 10th in the league in service aces per set with 0.23. Shehad her best match of the season in one of the most importantcontests, helping the Eagles to a 3-1 win at Sacramento State toclinch the Big Sky’s regular-season title. In that contest,Reinstein had season highs in kills (13) and hitting percentage(.379, 13-2-29) as well as six blocks, tied for her second-best sumof the season. Her best block total was achieved in a 3-1 win overWashington State, eight. She also had six in a four-set victoryover Northern Arizona on Nov. 6. Her season-high marks in serviceaces (3) were achieved in wins over Seattle University and WeberState on Oct. 21 and 25, respectively.

2007: Reinstein earned Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic honors in 2007. She was a blocking force with theEagles, as her 0.91 bps average was the second-highest average onthe team. That mark also placed her 397th among NCAA Division Iplayers. Reinstein had an incredible sum of 11 putbacks in EasternWashington’s 3-2 win over Northern Colorado on Sept. 27. Shethen nearly met that number with 10 against Portland State on Nov.10, especially impressive considering the contest went just threesets (a 3-0 Eagle win). In a six-match stretch from Sept. 15-Oct.2, Reinstein posted 4+ block totals in each match. On the season,she contributed four or more blocks 15 times.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Reinstein was a two-year letterwinnerat Livermore High School. She also played on Delta ValleyVolleyball Club’s 18 Blue team, which took third at theJunior Olympics in the national division. She competed with theGolden Bears Volleyball Club 17-RoShambo at the Junior Olympics inthe national division. Reinstein also competed on the NorthernCalifornia Regional team at the USA Junior High Performance WorldInvitational Tournament. Her parents are Henry and KathrynReinstein, and she is majoring in visual communications with aminor in business.
