Taylor Muff was hired in May of 2022 by her former coach, Jon Haruguchi, and joins the Eastern staff after a decorated playing career at Northern Colorado.

"I am thrilled and honored to be joining the Eastern Washington Volleyball team, be reunited with Coach Haruguchi, and also work alongside Coach DuBose," said Muff. "Both of these men know the nuances of the game of volleyball and I consider myself extremely lucky to coach beside them! I am also looking forward to stepping back into the Big Sky Conference and using my recent experience as a student-athlete to navigate this team to success. Go Eags!"

Muff switched sports to play basketball at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and became an all-conference selection, along with team captain.

Muff earned her bachelor's degree in sport and exercise science from UNC and is working on her master's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management from the UTRGV. She is the daughter of Kevin and Kim Muff, while having two older siblings, Alex and Skyler.

Haruguchi on Muff: "The opportunity to work with Taylor, after coaching her for four years at UNC, is something for which I am very grateful. Being a former DI athlete and two-time, all-conference selection within the Big Sky gives her a unique perspective on how to be successful at a high level. It is that perspective I know she will share with our staff and our athletes that will bring out the best in us all."
