Big Sky Player of the Week (9/27/19) after giving the assist for the golden goal against Nevada and scoring a goal against Boise State in the same weekend… Appeared in all 21 matches, making 15 starts, recording 1,127 total minutes on the pitch… Scored one goal and had one assist on the season… Took 20 shots, eight on target, for a shots on goal percentage of .400.
2020 | Sophomore
Appeared in all 11 matches and started in three during her sophomore year… Logged a total of 338 minutes on the pitch… Took seven shots, four on goal, for a shots on goal percentage of .571… Scored one goal and handed out one assist for a total of three points… Scored against the College of Idaho (Feb. 28)… Handed out an assist during the second match-up against Portland State (March 14)… Named to the Fall Big Sky All-Academic team.
Prior to Eastern Washington:
During her four years at Sandpoint High School, Riley Walkington was named the IEL League MVP three times and earned All-State Honors for four consecutive seasons. She led Sandpoint to three runner-up state championship finishes and led her club, Washington Premier FC, to the semifinals of the national championship tournament.

She also earned four-straight Golden Boot awards, scoring six goals as a freshman, 11 as a sophomore, 13 as a junior and 25 as a senior in addition to 10 assists.Â

She is a true leader and a soccer junkie and someone with a ton of upside. She is another crafty attacking player but also is very willing to defend and do whatever is asked or required for her team to be successful. Riley can score from midfield which will add another layer to our scoring options. She is a dynamic player on the ball and will make our group better right away in the fall."
