2012: Played inall 31 of Eastern’s matches as a senior, seeing time in allbut four sets … Finished sixth on the team with 114 kills,good for an average of 1.11 kills per set … Tied for theteam lead with 19 service aces and ranked second on the squad with325 digs … Finished third on the team with 45 assists andranked fourth with 44 total blocks … Notched a double-doublewith a season-best 19 kills and 12 digs against San Francisco (Aug.24), adding four blocks and a service ace … Recorded ninekills, 10 digs and five total blocks versus Seattle (Aug. 24)… Registered her second double-double of the year behind 12kills and 14 digs against South Dakota State (Sept. 1), hitting.292 (12-5-24) … Went for 12 kills and three blocks in theEagles’ five-set loss to Montana State (Sept. 20) …Notched seven kills and 17 digs versus Northern Arizona (Sept. 28)before recording seven kills, 11 digs and six blocks against NorthDakota (Oct. 4) … Contributed 16 digs and two service acesagainst Portland State (Oct. 18) … Added 14 digs and twoservice aces in EWU’s first win of the season, a sweep ofSacramento State (Oct. 22) … Went for six kills, 10 digs andfour blocks in Eastern’s sweep of Montana (Oct. 25) …Recorded 23 digs in the Eagles’ five-set victory overNorthern Arizona (Nov. 1) before notching 18 digs and two serviceaces in EWU’s win over Southern Utah (Nov. 3) … Had aseason-best 29 digs against North Dakota (Nov. 10), thencontributed 21 digs in Eastern’s 3-1 win over Idaho State(Nov. 15) … Earned Big Sky All-Academic honors for thefourth consecutive season.
2011: Continued tobuild her resume with All-Big Sky Second-Team honors, as well asher third-straight Big Sky All-Academic accolade … Puckettaveraged 3.02 kills per set to rank seventh overall in theconference … She also recorded 70 blocks and 25 service acesfor a points per set average of 3.54, which ranked sixth in theleague … She earned UNLV All-Tournament Team honors fortallying 47 kills and 23 digs in three matches against Cal StateNorthridge, UNLV and Southern Utah … With exception of onematch she sat out due to a minor ankle injury, the 5-11 leftyplayed every single rotation for the Eagles in 2011 … Shehad 10 double-doubles on the year - the second most on the team -and had double-digit kills in 20 of 28 matches … Sheregistered a career-high 22 kills and six blocks in a 3-2 winagainst Boise State (Aug. 31), and also had 13 digs and threeservice aces … She had only four errors in that match on 45total attempts for an impressive .400 attack percentage - hersecond-best of the season … She hit a .524 clip at WeberState (Sept. 16) with 13 kills and only two errors on 21 attempts… Puckett had a nine-match streak with at least 10 kills,including the first six of the Big Sky Conference season …She turned in one of her best all-around efforts at Montana State(Sept. 23) with 15 kills, 14 digs, four blocks and two aces… She notched a career-high 18 digs to go along with 14kills and three blocks in a five-set win at Northern Arizona (Oct.29), which avenged a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to the Lumberjacks fromearlier in the season.
2010: Followingthe 2010 season, Puckett was named to the All-Big Sky HonorableMention squad and the Big Sky All-Academic team … Sheaveraged 2.67 kills per set to lead the Eagle offense in 2010… She registered her first-career double-double in thesecond outing of the year against Seattle (Aug. 28) with 21 killson .415 hitting and a career-high 19 digs … She hadthree-consecutive double-doubles against Cal Poly (Sept. 10), Idaho(Sept. 10) and Montana (Sept. 17) … In the Sept. 17 contestagainst UM, Puckett had 11 kills, 18 digs and a career-high fourservice aces … She recorded double-digit kills in 11 of 16conference games, including a team-leading 21 in EWU’s thrilling five-set victory over Montana (Oct. 30) … Pucketthad 13 kills and only two errors on 29 attempts against NorthernColorado (Oct. 16), while also tallying four blocks and two aces… She helped Eastern nab its first road win of the season atIdaho State (Oct. 23) with 14 kills on .382 hitting, and acareer-high seven blocks.
2009: Puckett wasthe only true freshman to see action during the 2009 campaign, asshe played in 24 of Eastern’s 29 matches … She wasnamed to the Big Sky All-Academic team for maintaining a 3.20 gradepoint average during her rookie season … She tallied acareer-high six kills and three blocks on three separate occasions… She registered a career-high six digs against Nevada(Sept. 4) … Puckett received the Emtman Award during thespring season, which is an honor administered by Eastern’shead strength and conditioning coach and recognizes strong workethic, perseverance, character and team-first attitude.
High School:Puckett, native of Latah, Wash., graduated from Tekoa-Oaksdale in2009 … After helping lead her prep squad to its first-everstate title as a junior in 2007, Puckett was named the AssociatedPress Most Valuable Player at the 1B level for the state ofWashington … She was also named the MVP of the WhitmanCounty League that same year. Puckett then helped the team to athird-place showing at the 2B level her senior year, earning 2Bstate MVP accolades following the season. Her sophomore year sawthe Nighthawks place third in the 1B tournament … She wasalso a member of a Spokane Splash club volleyball team that placed19th at the Junior Olympics in 2009 … Also lettered inbasketball and was a two-time All-Whitman County League selection… She helped Tekoa-Oakesdale to a sixth-place finish at the2007 1B state tournament … She also earned All-Statehonorable mention accolades in softball in 2007.
