Krizzel Galvez begins her second season in 2022-23 as a new assistant athletic trainer with responsibilities working with women's basketball and cheer.

Galvez returns to the west after spending two years at North Carolina A&T as a certified athletic trainer intern. She had main responsibilities with volleyball and the men’s and women’s tennis programs, and also assisted with softball, baseball, women’s basketball, football and track and field.
 
She helped NCAT advance to the NCAA Volleyball Championship for the first time in program history. During her time in North Carolina, she also served as an athletic trainer at numerous soccer, rugby and lacrosse events.
 
Prior to that, Galvez was at Weber State where she received her master’s degree in athletic training in April of 2019. She was an assistant athletic trainer for the softball program there, and helped the Wildcats advance to the NCAA Tournament. She also worked with volleyball, men’s basketball and track and field.
 
She earned her bachelor’s degree from UNLV in May of 2016. Galvez received her degree in kinesiology with a concentration on allied health science. She is originally from Las Vegas and attended Las Vegas High School.
