CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Eastern Washington University women's soccer team survived a first half shootout in Cedar City, with a 3-3 tie at Big Sky Conference opponent Southern Utah on Friday, Oct. 14.
Southern Utah began the explosive first period with a goal in the sixth minute from Ally Thimsen, but it did not take long for EWU to answer with its own goal. Junior
Lexi Klinkenberg hit her second goal of the season in the 10
th minute off a pass from junior
Chloe Williams. However, this was just the beginning, as the flood gates opened halfway into the first half.
In the 22
