In becoming EWU's first champion in that event outdoors, his jump was also a personal-record for the Bremerton, Wash., native and ranks him second on EWU's all-time list.
The other medalist on the day was senior
Paula Gil-Echevarria as she placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:33.36.
"The women's performance of the day goes to
Paula Gil-Echevarria," women's head coach

Keshun McGee winning the long jump and adding to his growing collection of hardware."
