Bella Cravens Earns All-Big Sky Honorable Mention Nod

The sophomore receives her first postseason accolade after leading the conference in rebounding all season

BOISE, Idaho – After a solid sophomore campaign, Eastern Washington University women's basketball player Bella Cravens has earned an All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention nod, as announced by the league today (March 9).
 
Cravens played in 27 games so far this season, making 25 starts. She averaged 10.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the field during the 2019-20 regular season.
 
The Laie, Hawai'i native collected six double-doubles this season, scoring in double figures in 13 games with double-figure rebounds in 10.
 
Cravens led the Big Sky in rebounds nearly all season long, collecting a career-high 16 boards against Southern Utah on Feb. 27 and had a pair of games with 15 against Northwest Christian (Dec. 8) and Portland State (Feb. 15). She currently ranks 89th nationally in rebounds per game and grabbed 232 total over the season.
 
She also had at least one block in 22 out of 25 games, including over two in 13 and three or more in nine. She currently ranks 64th nationally in blocks per game with 1.70, and has compiled 46 total swats so far this season. The 46 total blocks combined with 49 during her freshman campaign already ranks her eighth all-time in EWU history in career blocks with 95.
 
Cravens scored a career-high 28 points at Northern Arizona on Feb. 22 and followed it up with 20 points during the next game against Southern Utah on Feb. 27. She also had a career-high five steals against the Thunderbirds, and set a career best of four assists against Portland State on Feb. 15.
 
Cravens and the rest of the Eagles are in action this evening in the first round of the Big Sky Conference Basketball Championships. The No. 10 Eagles take on the No. 7 Portland State Vikings at approximately 4:30 p.m. Pacific time at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho.
