Eastern Washington volleyball will be bringing in another talented outside hitter for the 2023 class. Head coach
Jon Haruguchi announced the signing of Kalista Lukovich today (Nov. 11).
"We're super excited that Kali will be joining our Eagle family next fall," Haruguchi said. "She will add a nice level of skill and athleticism to our program. Her ability to score from both pins and stabilize ball control will add depth and complement our current roster."Â
Kalista hails from Happy Valley, Ore. and played at Adrienne C. Nelson High School. At Adrienne C. Nelson, Kalista was a first team All-State selection in 2022 and a three-year selection on the Mount Hood Conference first team. Kalista also earned Mount Hood Conference Co-Player of the Year honors.
With Kalista's help, Nelson won the conference title in 2022 and they would place third in the state tournament. During the 2022 season, Kalista tallied 493 kills.
When she arrives in Cheney next fall, Kalista intends to major in Finance or Criminology.
